The dialog tags are insane. If I was reading j might gloss over it but as audiobook I don’t need to hear “Jason said” “Rufus said” Kala asked in EVERY SENTENCE. get a fucking editor.

There are new chapters every 2 minutes it’s so annoying

The MMC is annoying and the FMC is weak and boring and if I hadn’t paid for this audiobook I wouldn’t bother finishing it.

I can’t get into Adam. He’s a douche.

Duet narration audiobook. One of the most annoying MFC though. A lot of it feels like it’s from her perspective and she’s just ugh. In her head. All the time. I get that enough in my own head.
I would’ve like to know more about him by now. Why is he thinking the way he is. What makes him tick. The first book was much better

These are all free on audible. They are dual not duet. They are okay. What bugs me is that every book has the same descriptors. “His jaw ticked”. “Her breath hitched” like over and over and over in each book and in the individual books. It’s like once one jaw ticked they all ticked from now until the end of time

Audiobook. Full cast. I hate singing.

Loving this book sad it’s the last. I wish some of these story lines started earlier so we would’ve had less verbose nothing and more of certain characters.

Duet audiobook I put down for a long time and then I listened to Irish which is a spin off. So I’m trying to come back to this; also because I have so many I haven’t finished I’m annoyed with myself. Anyway. It’s not very good.

The female narrator suuuuucks

This is taking months. Time has slowed to a crawl. The audiobook is horrible. Also it’s SI-ren and SEA-ren. I hate everything about this. I just want it to be over.

This book. What a piece of garbage. I sincerely hope she gets a new editor. They just referenced a character doing something (picking up a water glass) when he wasn’t in the room! They used the wrong name!! This whole book could have been an epilogue. She lived. She ascended. She has PTSD. They found out she’s (spoilers). War starts. The end.

JFC this is horrible. It’s full cast great. But Joe Arden is overacting to the point of being annoying and there’s so much slut smut that there’s no character development or any plot development. Maybe I’m losing my taste for purely smut fluff, but if there’s no real story what’s the point? It could’ve been interesting, conceptually, but she didn’t bother to write anything other than a bang fest.

I’m honestly mad. I’m not sure what it is but I’m just bored? The sound levels suck; pretty badly in some cases. There’s a few times it is very obvious there were vocals added in or dubbed over. The epilogues were not done by the original narrators and it is confusing whose point of view it’s from. Maybe it’s me but I was not impressed.

The male character Matthew voice levels are SO LOUD Im struggling to finish the audiobook. They didn’t develop roses back story much and I’m finding it hard to care how this book is going.

Honestly I’ve waited so long for this book but it’s falling flat for me. I don’t feel any of the back story of Rose and she was funny in the other books and falls flat for me here. No story (barely) on why she’s doing what she’s doing. I haven’t laughed once. Sure the addict raccoon is funny but the whole story feels flat

The audiobooks only keep getting shorter and it’s irritating. They were 12 hours in book 1; then 10 in book 2 now this one is barely 9

The new reading challenge format is annoying. It synced fine before. Now it double counts books if I review them here first. So I have to let them be marked as read by my kindle and then open it again to rate it. Lame

Great duet narration and so far pretty good enemies to (I assume) lovers story. I’ve been mad at my audiobook choices for a while so this is good so far.

I thought maybe doing this in audiobook would be better so I could space out when it’s annoying. It’s not. It’s not better.

His writing used to be better. He’s repeating statements over and over. It’s annoying.

I doubt I will be able to finish. It’s a good story so far but the MFC is so stupid and the whole story is from her POV. I have too many books to read to get sucked into this crap

Ok we are getting somewhere

The writing is terrible. It’s an audiobook and I will put up with a lot for a duet audiobook. But the only body part that should ever be “weeping” are eyeballs.

This is a long audiobook and it’s dragging.

I’m mad at my other books so I’m re-reading this one.
