Difficult to read. I have to revisit it from time to time or I'll be inundated.

It isn't as poetic or lengthy as I AM THAT, but no less meaty. It is a book to be savoured. The understanding seems buried among the exchanges.

The book includes many, and a variety of, supportive scientific studies that make the reading a tad boring at times. However, seemingly they give the book a more substantial platform.

To the quiet kind, the one no weaker than today's extrovert, you'll see your natural tendencies discussed very clearly herein.

Interesting first chapter -- abt, among other things, the psychological & historical influence of media (books, ads, successful personas and groups) on the creation, focus, recognition and fertilisation of identified personalities in American culture.

Krishnaji's words, whether spoken or written, allow for freedom and flight. Reading a synopsis of his teachings right now is perfectly timed. Witnessing the mind (yearn for, create dependence, become conflicted with what should be, want for more) is at first a fear-filled feat, bcuz one wants to deny what is. One wants the ideal. He spoke of these things beautifully.

Don't know if I can read much more. Main character is charming, her sarcastic intellect reminds me of my daughter, the premise of the story sounds interesting but the way it is written doesn't keep my attention.

Glad I finished. I have no more emotional energy to expend via this novel...alive with words that grabbed my attention and feelings from start thru end. Sure, some detail is worth bypassing, but the author succeeds at telling a depressing, funny, busy, gut-wrenching, heart-hitting familial story that rivals any fairy tale or bible story. Strongly recommended.

An emotionally-brewed book. Almost done but it has exhausted my feelings.

Those who think that we aren't interconnected is sadly mistaken. The river of life flows through and affects us all likewise. None is spared except he who realises the similarities among and throughout our humanity. He who does that experiences it, yet is freed from the emotional spoilage.

Dying with smiles at the book inside the book, written by the grandfather. A true character indeed. The story of the 'healthy' twin reminds me that many are the walking wounded, with their pain shrouded in stone & leading the procession of their dreams.

A lot of wasted pages (among the last 50) that significantly lost my interest. But in the last 10 or so, my emotions got stirred again.

An example of how one's conditioning forms his consciousness. The book just got emotional. I love how the author interchanges his style of writing. I.e., he writes differently when he speaks as a younger Dominic than when he represents him at 40.
