I’m not sold on this authors language. Yes, I get the importance of societal acceptance and the need to feel intellectual…. The attempt is saturating.

We can all use this language, but when “teaching” the masses, this missed the mark as easily readable.

Maybe somewhere it changed when we get more into, teaching. But I don’t have high hopes.

I really appreciate this book so far.

I am loving listening to these stories and learning about a culture different from my own.

I’m not sold on the protagonist. I’m willing to continue reading.

I am so bored. At this point I want to finish it to finish it. The only part I’ve enjoyed is the whales.

Being an advanced copy I’m not sure how many edits this story has gone through. I was lucky enough to win this as a giveaway but there seems to be a lot of repetitive thoughts, phrases, and moments that become annoying the further I read.

I feel this is a predictable read. So far, I’m not mad about it. I like we didn’t piddle around the bush to get where we need to go.

If you cannot stand mid POV changes, this isn’t the book for you.

I really like this story. It doesn’t drag. It moves along nicely.

I plan on reading this throughout the year and applying the activities to the week.
Here’s to the year long journey.

This seems very predictable, however I love Landry and am excited to see how her story unfolds.

It’s not bad. While there are numerous characters it’s not hard to keep them all in check.
