Hard to pick up a book in English after more than 6 months only reading in Portuguese, but learning a bunch or new words so far!

I've been trying to read this book for about 3 weeks now and all i can say is that it's soooo boring and the only reason I keep going is because a friend of mine said I don't like anything in the wolrd and I'm starting to think she's right

trying to read it before watching the movie with my mom tomorrow night
