Just started reading.

A "painful" book to read. It's as if the author had to have a set amount of words. She adds more to the story than what is necessary. For example, Maggie refers to the cigarette lighter in her van as a power source because she hates cigarettes, because her dad died from emphysema and she hates tobacco companies and hates smoking and will never call it a cigarette lighter ... Blah blah blah.

I'm not one for writing summaries on books. I'd rather read them. The title pretty much tells you what the book is about. What it doesn't say is, that the book is very well written. I was hooked one the first page. Didn't put it down until I was finished. This book (was) (is?) free from Amazon (kindle version). If you like the occult and have a vivid imagination, get it. It's worth the read. Then buy books 2 & 3.

had to return it to the library, for now. reading it as an e-book. my time expired. i WILL check it out again, so i can finish it.
