Probably the most comprehensive history of the "Medical New Left". Great detail about the concrete ways in which medical professionals interacted with the broader currents of activism throughout the 1950s-1970s. Suffers mainly from the author's lack of understanding/bias against the New Communist Movement in the later chapters which detail the takeover of MCHR by the RCP.
