Love her work, but I actually enjoyed that this particular book had more story and less the medical jargon. Always, in past books, that's been fascinating, but for me, in this particular book, it wasn't necessary.

Life is too busy right now, so having to read this in small doses; however, this author's writing is SUPERB (so far). Regardless of having to put the ebook down for a while, here and there, I'm IMMEDIATELY pulled back into the story. I'm jealous of her writing ability. The way history is weaved into the story is very smooth and easily digested--no history/info dumping. I HIGHLY recommend grabbing this book!!

Seriously doubt that I'll finish this book. Too slow. Halfway through the book, and the premise of story has still yet to be truly touched upon. What sounded like a mystery romance has turned into what I refer to as 'bubblegum' romance. Step-by-agonizing step of their day-to-day routine, a hint here and there of mysterious stone mentioned on back cover, then back to snooze-storytelling. Can't do it.
