way more into this than i expected

Reading for Always Here Podcast book club

This book isn’t really meant for the stage I’m at, but it’s a quick read on my free kindle unlimited trial

this has been a 5/5 star read right from the beginning

I enjoy it but of course as the book goes on every little thing that happens has to be turned back to something sensual

Picked up on my free trial of kindle unlimited just to look at pretty pictures but I’m enjoying the writing too. I didn’t realize I needed a change in pace of reading.

A ridiculous plot and I love it

I used to think I liked sad books that made me feel things but I’m a mother now and things hit a little bit more 🥺

In one minute I could sum up everything that has happened in this book so far.

My mom and sister had encouraged me to read this but the internet had convinced me this philosophy was probably old and bad. So far, though, it’s been such a voice of reason. And it’s made me feel decently good about where I’m currently at with my daughter and her routines, and it’s given me very practical tips on what to do next.

I'm ready for this book to pick up the pace. Like, I get that the dad is dying and the mom is cold and unfeeling. Can we please move on.

The best time to read this devotional is every day leading up to Christmas. The second best time is whenever you can, however you can. I guess I’m settling for second best.

Such a good chapter on the simplicity and necessity of faith.
I am determined to finish this book before the new year.

A very quick read

I feel like I halfway knew all of this information. Getting it all together is very helpful though. I love the way this writer writes. Very practical but not boring at all.

This is the type of book you read a few page of before bed to get yourself to fall asleep.

I hate to do catchup on these things because it feels like I don’t get to sit and revel in it. But I just did catch up and it was oh so good. Marveling in why God did for us on Christmas.

This book is so good and so well written.
