🎶A white woman, a white woman’s memoirs 🎶

This is feeling all a bit too curated and new age-y for me, but I’m going to try to push through. I think it’s the assumptive tone that’s turning me off. I’d rather just learn about her experience than be told to do something weird like sit in a closet for 10 minutes.

Strong Gertrude Stein vibes. This books feels like a dream: lots of rich imagery and symbolism.

Putting this down for now - there’s one particular quote I like from the memoir, but reading about her teenage years is just too painful. Will pick up again.
