The book conversation about identity is intriguing. My daughter is in middle school and doesn’t share her ethnicity with her peers. She says it’s not their business.

I really try not to judge people. The goal is to listen for understanding, not listen to respond, but… WHAT IS GOING IN WITH THIS WOMAN!? Is it this hard to be a white woman in the US? Maybe it’s a wealthy white woman thing, but first world issues, for sure!
