Four chapters in and there are at least six wildly different alien factions that all have different relations to each other including a religous, syncretically-evolved race of giants, an cyberocracy with possibly bio-trophies, and multiple human sub-species that live in ships and on comets. This is like playing a game of Stellaris with the civilization count set to max. There are a lot of action scenes.
