Both deeply frustrating characters. Losing interest.

If I had known this book was a miscommunication trope, I would’ve never started it. I hate this trope ABOVE all else. Unfortunately, I’m interested right now 😡 Let’s see if I can hack it.

emotionally intense.

I will forever dislike the friend-to-lovers trope. There’s a couple of reasons why I think it’s icky. I think there’s something cowardly and cruel about the whole trope
The writing of the book is decent, I just don’t like the subject matter.
I don’t like Peach.

It’s giving strong vibes of Calvin from Sam Mariano’s Descent.

Didn’t realise it’s an actual Romeo and Juliet retelling. I just liked the cover. Probably will dnf it 🫣

Firstly, I didn’t realise how big of the age gap was between Gypsy and Lucien. Not a fan, unfortunately.
I’m really racking my brain on why he’s blackmailing her. I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily enjoying it.
I just want to find out the plot twist.

Something fishy is going on. I have a theory about Tor, but I’m scared, if I’m right, Cassie is serious danger. Which she already is, obviously lol… but I think it’s worse than that!

Kane's toxicity has me in a chokehold, and I hate how much I'm enjoying it. Tate is completely in over her head—it's like watching a car crash in slow motion, and I simply can't look away.

To say I’m struggling with this book would be an understatement. I’m slowly slipping back into my reading slump.
I just want to finish the book already 😒

I'm having a hard time getting through this book. In my opinion, the writing isn't very strong. The author mostly tells you what's happening rather than immersing you in the story. It feels more like a series of observations than a narrative, which has made it difficult for me to connect with the characters or become invested in the book.

Boring af — I’m literally speed reading and skipping chapters. I just need answers!!!

The chemistry is jumping off that page. I’m literally giggling and kicking my feet as I’m reading
