‘Reacquainting me with myself’

I love the bluntness of Sybil, the character truly feels like an unabashed grandma. Finally starting to remember who’s who, since in the beginning the different correspondents kind of blurred together.

I’m curious to know how much is exaggerated and what’s the real deal. Crazy how he’s ‘allowed’ to drag the army through the mud though. Has given me multiple laughs already with his dry & dark humour

It was difficult getting into the many characters, background stories being hinted at and timeline. However, after adjusting this is a fast-paced novel which you can’t put down. Shows the impact your childhood can have on your upbringing and motivation behind choices.

Not sure what to think of this… getting used to the unlikeable main character. Not exactly sure what’s going on or what the writing’s like. It’s her inner turmoil and dialogue, but still confused me sometimes

Got this book as a blind date with a book, and I am loving it so far!
