It took me some time to understand his style of telling a story. Now that I’m understanding more of the story and how he writes, I’m going to go back to some earlier parts. Specifically where he expounds on his thoughts about what Mustafa is saying about being a coward and his perspectives on strength.

There are so many people who could be the enemy. I have reasons to believe it’s Chloe. I have reasons to believe it’s the husband. I’m wondering if some of the staff might be playing a role I’m just all over the place right now 😂

The way other dimensions are being mentioned and woven into the story has awakened more curiosity about Quantum physics

This is touching on so many issues, addiction, physical abuse, sexual abuse, poverty, wealth, societal biases regarding men & women, the pandemic, the legal system, self defense, the mind of a predator and so much more while not going too far. Every time I think it’s about to go way beyond what I’m ready to digest, the author pulls back. I’m going to finish this book today.

Im pleased with the mini stories developing within the story. Brimsley’s loyalty to the Queen and Reynolds’s loyalty to the king is intense and a different look at protection, care and concern. Some of the behaviors of King George remind me of autism, anxiety and bipolar disorder. Some of the behaviors from Queen Charlotte remind me of the difference between being alone and loneliness. Im liking this book so far

This 📘started slow, & I put it down a few times b/c I could not get into it & then I thought to myself let me start from the beginning, again because maybe I was not paying attention (multitasking). Sometimes when I’m listening to an audiobook, the voice or other things can be a distraction, and I find myself not fully tuned-in. I’m so glad I started again because Evelyn has so many parts to her WOW

I’m enjoying the authenticity and realness that Viola shares with us as the reader. I feel like I’m a part of the conversation as she shares the truth of relationships. The one with ourselves, family, loved-ones coworkers and so much more. Sometimes, I’m reluctant to read about certain traumas if I think it may be graphic. I have not come up on that in this book. I keep rereading certain mental health lessons

I nominated “A Perfect Stranger” by Shalini Boland as a possible read in a group I recently joined. There were so many twists in that book

I love the twist and turns but do not like the outcome

Her behavior as a mental health practitioner is difficult to swallow, but maybe this is what it would be like regarding a plane ✈️ crash, even if the wife is a psychologist. The level of denial she is experiencing is hard to imagine yet. the story still is pulling me in because I’m wondering where are these text messages coming from? Is Will alive? Is this a trick? I’m definitely curious 👀

This book completely floored me with the turns. This whole time when they referred to lying to the children I thought something totally different. I kept thinking I was missing something and went bs k a few times. I finally got it near the end. Well deserved 5 stars

The turns in this book have me questioning is Ivy really gone with Sam? Although it seems like it makes sense, that’s too logical. There’s so many other small stories like, what about the debt her dad owes for gambling? What about her moms mental health? What about the child minder? I’m looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

The twists and turns are phenomenal. I absolutely did not see where this ending could occur until more than 95% through

There are so many words to describe Monica. She’s an interesting villain. She has experienced some awful things and has done some awful things. The things Jazz was thinking before the accident got me wondering about how she will treat Jr. if/when she recovers. I’m curious where this will go. I’m not sure it’s good for Junior to stay with Jazz & his dad. We will see—lots of possibilities.

This story is perfectly woven. I have so many questions and things I want to happen. I’m thinking Mr Mahogany is so many things. On the one hand, he seems behind what’s happening with them on;however, I’m not sure because he’s so fatherly with LC. Also, Levi might stutter but I think he’s way smarter than his family thinks. I’m not sure what to think about Chippy. The voice actors r awesome🤩

Interesting the different personalities that come with Pam vs. Carmen vs. Pooh. It’s interesting the connect is so willing to work with her and not the others (Eric, T, etc). I wonder where this is going. She seems naive in certain crucial situations. I wonder if some of these folks are undercover agents. Several things to consider, motherhood, loverships, managing the escorts, marketing to potentials, distribu …

The twists in this books has me on alert. Chance makes me want to tell him to be more cautious and yet I love his authenticity in innocence. I want to go kick a few folks butt for taking him through so much. I don’t want to stop reading. I appreciate the journey this book is taking me on and yet I have so many questions.

I have done my best to get into this book and it is not doing anything to keep me wanting to read it

It started somewhat slow and now is really going. My curiosity is now engaged with several things that are occurring. I am wondering what happens if The people who know who he is get hurt. It is almost like the main character is having to think through playing three or four different personalities to send the message that helps him accomplish his mission.

I’m so excited in anticipation. I just bought it for myself. I’m ready to rock & roll 📚

Rio and Trinity have such an interesting relationship. They are so loyal to each other. Truck is such a menace.

I was happy to see how Animal handled Apple. It reminds me of how far bullies will go even when the person is already down. Eddie is a piece of 💩 — would like to step in the book and handle him 😂. It’s nice to get some of the background on characters like Castro, K Dog, Jus, Gladiator and Animal. I’ve read some of the books that are in the future of this one and seen the characters when they r older.

I’m moved and honored by any soldier that has endured for their country. The character Lisa Morales reminds me of a strength well beyond average. I keep pausing on this book to give me time away from the intensity.

The depth of the descriptions and explanations of each card has been precise and detailed. I’ve reread the last few pages again. The author gives credit to each model and brings u into their vision. WOW!

Wow! I can’t begin to imagine what type of confusion Claire must have going on in her head. As hard as it is too imagine her being married to a man who abhors black people even though she is black. I can see she is conflicted but I’m still a bit annoyed at her behaviors right now

So sorry about Gucci. I’m going to have to go back to previous books because I need to tie back into K Dog. Im not sure what to think about Red Sonya — I thought she would be more shattered about the kidnapping — maybe she is 🤷🏾‍♀️. It took me a second to get used to the new narrator but I’ve adjusted — he’s doing well. 👍
