Shit really hit the fan

The assignments I have to do for this book on Wednesdays have really been cramping my style

I can’t tell if this is slow moving or if I just haven’t been listening to it regularly enough

Keep forgetting to log this bc I’ve just been slowly listening to it at work

I have to do a reading response for this reading and it’s such an over the top assignment and it’s going to take me so long and I’m so sleepy and I’ve been working for so long arghhhhhhggg

This is very well written and I’m very excited to learn from it. This sounds like my prof is holding me at gunpoint or something but I’m being genuine. I need to go buy the physical copy tmr.

I love this book

I want to start a journal (this is completely unrelated). But I’ve had a busy day (kinda) and am now thinking that a journal sounds like something I could get into.

There’s a limit on audiobook listening time on Spotify if you didn’t know. I made the very silly and very ill-advised decision to start listening to this at work on Friday and now I can’t even finish listening to it until I figure out how to get my libby account working again. I was really enjoying it as well so now I’m pissed off.

Locking in bc I seriously need to return this to the library

The last two sections got really confusing because of all of the different narrators (and all the indistinguishable white guy names) but Francis is an incredible character and I wish there was more of her in the world

Honestly the perfect kind of book to listen to

Immediately unrelenting and gripping

I hate the waiting game that this book is making me play. So, I spoiled the reveal for myself (just by looking through the rest of the chapter) and I honestly expected it to be more. I am still looking forward to continuing on but I really just needed this MC to discover something.

I have my suspicions about Arthur. I also refuse to believe it’s a coincidence that he is named arthur and lucy is the son of a human and the devil (Merlin’s origin story) it’s like reverse Arthurian legend but I don’t know if it was intentional.

I keep being left unsupervised at work without instructions on what to do. This has nothing to do with the book but I wanted to speak into a void and goodreads is today’s chosen void.

Suicide attempt and three year gap was not the turn I was anticipating but we’ll see how this goes

Marriage is hell and if my husband ever did what these husbands did to their wives I would literally take the kids and leave that night. It is so insanely disturbing to see a husband convince everyone in their community that his wife is crazy. RATS ATE YOUR MOTHER. And you think it’s unreasonable that a mysterious wealthy man could be hurting children. Kill everyone.
