I am enjoying this book but with a heavy heart. The many “worlds” that the writer juggled in this book - definitely kept my interest while giving me anxiety.

Very detailed.

Definitely glad I read this book. It provided a lot of thought provoking moments for me. There were some areas of the book that drifted from the topic but those experiences described by the author played a role. I will continue to work towards being a mindful consumer and always declutter as I live out the rest of my life.

Just what I needed to hear, read, embrace! I have watched the shows, read magazine articles on this topic but this is the format that I needed at this moment in time. Word by word, page by page, box by box donated, the author’s journey motivated me to take another stab at letting go of “things”.

It just isn’t for me.

I continue to be strongly impacted by this book. My constant thoughts are “how can we (parents, psychologists, police, educators, friends, politicians, etc) stop such horrific events”. The multifaceted answer boggles the mind. The pain of those left to exist after such a horrific event is unimaginable. The author tries to explain a lifetime of survivor’s deep human agony but it is impossible.

I can’t put this book down. It is such a deep, personal mom’s view of a heartbreaking tragedy for so many.

Eager to find new ways to eat healthy - this was a perfect book for me!
