Book club book

Uh oh lost my Libby loan I’ll have to finish it another time

3rd times the charm. Picking this back up again, I really want to like it and finish it.

Oh this might be a little too dark romance for me…I’m thinking kill him but she’s thinking something completely different.

A book about a group of depressed and traumatized friends just making their way through life? Yeah I never stood a chance, it’s already 5 stars.

I’m actually going to have to dnf this, unfortunately. It’s just rubbing me the wrong way, I don’t think that the author is understanding as much as she thinks she is about this other culture (I’ve only gotten to one out of the three) or giving the best advice. I also don’t know how qualified she is to give this advice. Bummer, I’ve waited months for this book.

I feel like some of the recommendations and advice so far have been on the rather extreme side, I’m not sure I’d recommend this to a friend but it is definitely interesting.
