I swear I’m going to read Babel at some point but the time is not now unfortunately

Oh god I should know better than to read a book with chapters from a dog’s point of view but I DIDN’T KNOW and I’ve already shed a tear

Unfortunately have to take a break from this one bc my library loan is due and it’s another 8 weeks wait sos

The writing is SO good

Unfortunately gonna have to DNF this and pick it up again later bc while vibes were high I literally cannot read books that don’t use quotation marks for dialogue

VanderMeer’s writing is just so unnecessarily complicated and clever without being antiquated or too sci-fi-y and I just love it

What could be more pretentious than reading this book that I bought at S&Co, as a writer, during a trip to Paris? Not much.

And so begins the final year of English degree reading

It’s time y’all. New PJ book comes out in September, show date tba, so obviously I’m obligated to relive my childhood and reread the whole series. For the thousandth time.

Also have already cried thrice.
