I’m crying. Not from the story itself, but from one of the notes from chapter 10 - a quote from Wilde on the stand in the trail against him for his homosexuality. It really just hit me how Wilde, and any other queer person of his time, really had to struggle just to exist and love who they loved. He described loving the same sex in such a beautiful way that, even in a trail against him, he got an applause.Beautiful
