I am on a runaway train heading straight for 'grandmother' I may even try and read it at her funeral. And may she glare at me both for breaking her cardinal rule that no close family should speak at funerals and for daring to say it at all. May she glare with pursed lips and the slight squint like she's reading my soul and analysing me. Deciding on whether or not I'm worth the trouble of telling off.

The last few months have been truly horrific in so many ways - I'm starting to get back on my feet now with good days and bad days, I'm grateful because for a few years now there has only been bearable and unbearable days. Amongst the carnage Im aware iv come out on top - this book has been a balm and a light to my black grief and a friend in a lonely world - thank you

For the first time in hundreds of books I have been genuinely surprised by a turn of events - I did not see it coming whatsoever and that is incredibly rare for me. I am mildly annoyed and absolutely thrilled by this

If the perfect book existed I would argue this could be it

I cannot believe I have yet to read this masterpiece ... Been a while since I read a new book that I simply loathed or failed to put down... It's simply marvelous.

I love and wonder at how the three Brontë sisters had such vastly different and wonderful writing styles!
