Până în acest moment favorita mea este Nyx. Iubesc energia de "main character" pe care o emană, dar și spiritul protectiv pe care îl are față de Alexis.

Am fost puțin îngrijorată de faptul că nu îmi aminteam atât de multe lucruri legate de mitologia greacă, dar lucrurile par a fi destul de bine explicate în roman.

Începutul este promițător și sunt curioasă de cum va evolua firul narativ.

Îmi place foarte mult dinamica dintre Poppy și Alex. Aflăm de la început că sunt foarte buni prieteni, dar un eveniment din timpul unei vacanțe petrecute împreună îi face să se îndepărteze unul de celălalt.

Este o carte care te face să îți dorești să continui să citești, pentru a afla mai multe din spatele tensiunii dintre cei doi protagoniști. Până acum, pot spune că lectura este un succes.

Maybe this is what books do, she thinks – whether stories, real or imagined, or poems compiled in one place for people to flick through in search of what they need. They offer something universal but allow you to find your own meaning amongst the words. They are for everyone and yet they are for you too.

This book is so well written, it feels like a warm hug. Even though it's emotional, because it treats sensitive topics, such as loss, it makes you feel comfortable reading it. Maybe it is because the main character is trying to regain her confidence and do things by herself.

I'm only 50% in it, but if I could describe it in one word, that would be "beautiful". ❤️

have you ever cried while reading a thriller? no? cause I found myself tearing up when reading the last few chapters of this book. I guess this the effect Broken Country has upon one.
