Picked this up again since I acquired it back in 2025 and trying to re-center myself. It was a tale I did not expect - reaching the final chapters in a day’s time and I’m so excited

Audiobook. Mark’s rec. In my audiobook kick lately and think this would be a nice long run listen (and motivate me to go run SO I can listen).

Gwen’s recommendation from her lab library. So excited to revisit insulin’s story. One of my earliest exposure to science writing for general public was the book about the start of genetech in my first year of grad school. Don’t remember the details now but I remember how exciting it felt.

Audiobook. Listened to this on and off bc libby and it’s kinda graphic for morning walks. Slow build-up but it’s starting to get interesting.

Past the practical part and now onto more specific cases. There are some good ideas here and there at this point but I’m struggling to finish.

Bought on impulse in Vancouver during a conference. Exactly what I was looking for and then some. Took a few strategies to use at poster and meetings.

High fantasy and murder mystery - captivating and got me over my reading slump on the first of 2026

Barely registered the cover and realize it’s about botany oops. There’s something so beautiful about the natural sciences. The foundamentalness of it.

My first science audiobook for running. Can go really bad or really good….

Cheesy, a little culty, but pretty motivating since I do love the peace of early AM.
