We're about a quarter in when things finally start to get GAY.

Years ago I checked-ochecked-out this book and read almost half-whalf-way when I decided to take a break from it. Now that I'm reminded of how long it is I recall why.

I'm actually listening to the audiobook version, which is read by the author and I can't help but think he edited the audio as well. There are so many little blips and such. At one point there was such a long pause between sections, I almost checked to see if I got kicked out of the app or something

I'm barely into this book and I already find him insufferable with his dismissive attitude and generalizations. We get it. You're an atheist. Believe it or not, you can also be respectful to other people's beliefs. Just like... Don't be a dick, ya know? Saying all pagans are crunchy conspiracy theorists and comparing them to us queers that say "the Straights™" is a dick thing to say, not to mention tone-deaf

Immediately in love with the graphics/illustrations in this book. The layout HIGHLY reminds me of the way you see it for rituals and spell books. I'm digging it.

This story is so quirky and fun! I'm still really enjoying it despite the reader almost sounding like a robot.

Ghosts. Mythology. And WITCHCRAFT. This story really is my cup of tea!

This story certainly isn't atmospheric. I am often at a loss recalling the setting around these characters while they talk and talk and talk...

This author's favorite words are "girlies" and "sashayed." Not mad about it. Just felt like noting it because it comes up so often I've started repeating the words every time I hear them.

Okay, is this really is just the Greek stories about her in her perspective? Someone who rec it to me made it seem like there was more to it than that but maybe that person just didn't already know some of the stories like I do.
