I've no fucking clue where I've put Mrs Dalloway which is pissing me off given I had a good 40 pages left of it but I've started this now, courtesy of a strongly positive recommendation from my dearest brummie Bronagh in the famed UCL Waterstones. Genuinely exactly what I wanted, calm, slow, kind. Hopefully finished by Sunday morning so I can read Finnegan's Wake on the flight home

Put on pause until the next time I'm in the position to be carrying around a 600 page book, I.e. next summer

Nice to have read a bit of this in London, looking forward to a different book next though as Woolf's writing here isn't particularly ... the current vibe
