the writing is kind of repulsing me

having a hard time discerning barnes' language at times (what's new) but coming up on being one of my favorite books of all time

initially was put off by there being an israeli character but i do also think it's funny to make him the most obnoxious annoying awful character. so much is annoying me about this book but i am also charmed by it...

I was howling at the soccer/football fiasco, and then Pnin trying to subtly throw it away when Victor remarked he hated football and proceeded to fall down the stairs.
