Blowing my mind so far and definitely reframing how I think about politics. So much helpful context about the Roman Empire that helps you understand Jesus’ interactions with the world and why His kingdom IS political, but not in the way we think. “Christianity is political, but it has been partisanized. Christianity is public, but it has been privatized.”
