I don’t read much Manga but I really enjoyed reading this. I think I may “forget” to return this to my friend’s ex.

This book is pretty funny and a nice light read due to the intensity of the world right now. And it’s an escape I need!

Great book that is bringing back traumatic incidents. Had to shelve for the time being because of that.

This is super interesting but Bill Moyers asks too many questions about how the myths relate to Christianity. I do love the chapter about societies based around goddesses.

A spiritually rich collection of poetry by Rumi, this is inspiring!

I love this book and I expect this book will have a profound impact on my life as many of my friends have said. But, I am very triggered right now by the Russian war with Ukraine and had to temporarily shelf this book and work on other reads. I know that Dostoevsky would likely not approve of Russian aggression but I am unfortunately very triggered right now. This is terrible on my part but I cant help my feelings.

The last page is technically 474 in the edition I have. The plot is starting to pick up but this book reads like molasses because the plot is so dense. It's a great book though so far.
