It's Christmas Eve. Welcome to another season of existential crisis. May as well finally dig into this Bill Bryson audiobook, where my hold started at 2,083rd in line at TPL.

Finally in my Emily Henry era. May her books fill my entire 2025 holiday season.

Jeremy Renner narrates his own memoir, and I've only listened through 2 of the 7 hours, and wow. I'm still in shock by how he recounted every gory detail of his accident and the fact that they incorporated the 911 call. Wow.

Of course I'm reading the new TJR as soon as I got my hands on it.

5% in and I'm already screaming on the inside.

This is way juicier than I anticipated. It gets better with every chapter.

I'm starting this book (as an audiobook) because my husband recommended it to me multiple times. It has a full cast with delightful British accents. Here goes!

DNF @ 10%.

I'm four chapters in and the book is beautifully written with a mix of English and Toisan. But I'm having to pause because I'm so overcome with grief after reading what happens to the husband—coupled with the fact that the main character has the same name as my own grandmother. It's as though I'm reading an alternate history of my grandparents. I'm simply unable to continue, at least for now.
