I knew nothing about this book going into it, but it's about a bunch of theater kids who just wrapped up Our Town (the play we did this past fall)!

I cannot stand the miscommunication trope. If Fallon would just have a conversation with Chloe like the adults they are (or almost are), this book wouldn't exist.

In the first 23 pages, the main character has made fun of his deaf brother, complained about girls wearing "too many clothes," and called his 11 year old sister a "whore" because she wore a two piece bathing suit...

This girl... I want to feel sorry for her, but she makes it so hard. She's obsessed with her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend (who are dating). She talks about how painful it is for her to see them together, but actively chases and pesters them. They make Lainey (the ex-best friend) out to be the bad guy when she just wants to be left alone. Plus the plot is really slow. I might DNF this one...

*SPOILERS* I'm tempted to drop this one. She started crushing on her enemy's dad. 🤮 (Other than that, it's not that bad so far.)
