I really do enjoy fantasy books—no matter their levels of complexity. But I am starting to really understand how (without a significant amount of pining / yearning) I’m not really a romantasy enjoyer when it has high spice levels or it the mention of spicy topics are introduced too early.

Idk if it’s just me but when white authors write black characters and speak on sensitive experiences it feels wrong????
