an absolutely unremarkable beginning of a novel. Very meh

So so good and I love hearing Bishop narrating her own story

struggling with remembering from the first book but daniella l jensen is such an enchanting writer I could care less

Not me getting emotional hearing the explanation to the lyrics of at the ballet

So the author really thought she could write herself as the main character as if we wouldn’t be able to tell

This is just unappetising…

So the “plot twist” just turned this book so stupid wtf

Starting to get a bit bored…

It’s fun(ish) but the whole thing isn’t fleshed out enough. The characters, world, and plot ate just lacking

For a book that is telling a story of the importance and impact of poetry, it is rather lacking in its prose. Its pretty much a word for word recount of the movie and not adding much else

No real plot like the outsiders but its the same sort of vibes and I love it
