it‘s interesting but it‘s slow and takes for everrr

the book is really good now. i liked when ruth stayed with the farm people the characters there and everything that went down was really interesting. ((also i love nathan.)) ever since then i‘ve been hooked.

still kinda meh. i feel like the plot would be interesting but idk somehow the way it‘s written or whatever it is makes it slow and kinda boring?

i think it‘s really interesting how annie acts much younger than she is, she is an elderly person with the spirit in her early twenities, trying to make up for the lost time. henrietta is the opposite and acts strangely old and old fashioned for her age. which i guess is from her trauma. still i think it’s so cute how they learn from eachother.

finally picked this up again after i read half of it last summer. i started from the beginning again which i first thought would be boring but it was no problem since i really like this one. i love the writing style, the way the author uses words that only the specific character would say (henrietta) is really well done. since she thinks differently than most people her statements are quite funny to read.

omggg i just finisher chapter 28, they’re too fucking adorable i can’t anymore. i feel like there’s really a turning point here. gotta admit i didn’t really enjoy the first half of the book but i can‘t put it away now.

this book just pains me. idk sometimes i think it might be boring though it’s still interesting to read but not that much happens. it‘s mainly just emotions. but idk. the missues of trust and miscommunication and unfairness just gets to me.

omg. it‘s good. sometimes a little slow. but the feelings. it makes me so angry. i like how the characters are written. no one is just bad or good everything is very nuanced..

absolutely love this book and adore the writing style. there’s nothing better than short sentences

it‘s good but it‘s jut sooo boring

it takes a while t get used to and we’re still not really in the action but i think i‘ll get better now and i have a feeling that i can’t put the book down later

continuing this after months because i wanna be done but it takes soo long and is honestly still quite boring. and all the different people and perspectives afd confusing though it might make it more interesting

i just wanna scream. this book is incredibly well written but it makes me soo angry, it‘s hard to read. i feel so helpless just reading and not being able to help the main character. but again, props to the author for writing it so accurately that i feel like it‘s all real.
