"I am the rock against which the surf crashes. Nothing can break me."

THATS RIGHT BABY NOTHING CAN BREAK YOU 🙂‍↕️

"There will always be sisters lost to us—ones we pray each day will find a way home to our sides"

:( this was actually v nice.

Did Sarah j maas go to Ali Hazelwoods school of smut writing because what is this 😭😭😭

Im sorry but Az beefing with truthteller because of hofas events has me creasing 😭🤣

"The howling, rain-lashed wind robbed every lingering ember of warmth from Azriel"

starting off with a bang, I see 😝🙂‍↕️

Word on the street is that gr is introducing .25 and .5 ratings (FINALLY) 🥳

NOW- how am I supposed to re-rate near 1k books on my read shelf 😔😭 and I know I'll have to or it'll actually kill me 😭

"Just so you know," she said, speaking to all of them but still watching Sam, "I'm going to retrieve Ben's body." A muscle feathered in Sam's jaw, though he wisely kept his eyes averted. "But don't expect me to extend the same courtesy to the rest of you when your time comes"

7th time saying I'm not ready 😭

LMAOOO I also realized I highlighted this exact same quote, the last time I read it.

"The colors will be there. I can find them in the sand. Maybe the ocean water would paint me blue and the sun's rays would make glow like gold. Maybe my body will become translucent, and i will take in every color."

😭❤️‍🩹 my heart aches. I'm reading it slowly because im tabbing it but its so beautifully written.

;( the first 10-14 chapters were so good but its been going downhill and boring ever since. The book is unnecessarily long. We're only 30ish% thru so I hope it gets better 😔

THE TENSION AND CHE.ISTRY BETWEEN THEM?!? 🥵 LAWD. HAVE. MERCY. 🥵

Plsss with one character being named Grayson and the other Jameson and it being a potential love triangle it gave me war flashbacks to the inheritance games 😭

I've been meaning to update but I'm so captivated. It's long as fuckkkk but it so good!! I just wish the chapters were smaller 🤧

I JUST REALIZED RAMADAN IS HERE MEANING I CANT READ THIS BOOK SO I HAVE TO BINGE IT TODAY 😭🫣

"I’m frozen for a second. I’ve seen her smile before, but not like this, and I suddenly feel like someone seeing color for the first time. This smile is unguarded. It’s soft and alive and shining brighter than the sun. It traps my breath halfway in my chest."

I'm legit bouncing off the walls 😭 what is wrong with me why am i so giddy. 🤣🤭

The intense staring/stolen glances trope hates so damn hard it has me like 😛😮‍💨🥵

This book has me and Rowan crashing out every few chapters 😭

Also pls someone ask pierce to reduce Ephirams chapters 🙏🏻 rawdogged through five back to back chapters of his pov and I CANT ANYMORE 😭

"Her laughter adjusts the spin of his atoms"

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

"No man alive has ever loved a woman the way that I love you, and I would rather die, damned as I am, then disgrace us both with the pitiful, unrequited performance of my heart."

He's the king of yearning. This is peak. No one can beat this 🙏🏻 I feel their agony 😭 it's too much omd 😔🔫

A copper haired man with multiple dragons, who loves to yearn and is head over heels, madly, deeply in love with his queen and his wife who's supposed to kill her??? IM GOING OUT OF MY MIND HEREEEEE. IM GOING INSANEE 😭

“The problem was, Cyrus was wearing nothing but a towel.

"Huda tore her eyes away; she’d gone deathly pale. “Good God,” she breathed. “It suddenly seems a shame to kill him.”

I'm loving this book so much 😭🤣 the scene after this. How Cyrus alizeh are so miserable 😔 the yearninggggggg and the slow burn is killing meee

This book is giving me trust issues. I gasped at one scene and settled with that idea, and then we get hit with a twist that completely conflicted the first narrative 😭 I love how she's playing with us. Miss Kuang can never disappoint me

I love this so much, and I love how that twist hit me like I did not see that coming 😭

I can forgive anything but animal cruelty is where I draw the line 😤✋🏻 especially towards cats.

I am loving this book so much 😭 it so well written and so well researched. R.F. KUANG NEVERRRRRRR DISAPPOINTS

The cannibalism is so bad 😭🤢

Monty stole the spotlight 😭 he's outshining everyone.

Also the spice was so hot 🥵

I. WANNA. CRY. AT. HOW. WELL. WRITTEN. THIS. BOOK. IS. I. DO. NOT. WANT. IT. TO. END.

"I'm so tired, Rowan." His heart strained again. "I know, Fireheart."

This is easily one of the best scenes in this book 😭

“Take it off!” The plea turned into a scream. “Take it off!”
Over and over, the queen screamed it. “Take it off, take it off, take it off!”
She was sobbing amid her screaming, the sounds shattering through the ancient forest. She said no other words. Pleaded to no gods, no ancestors.
Only those words, again and again and again.
Take it off, take it off, take it off.

I'm gonna be sick 😭✋🏻

I really wanna know what Keris did to Danielle because she's put him through everything 😭 my poor boy needs a break 😔✋🏻

SINGLE DAD TROPES ALWAYS HIT!!!

KAI MAX AND MILLER ARE EATING SO FAR
