Creepy, but I’m invested. Will have nightmares.

Started out with a bang and a fantastic hook into this new installment of our friends adventures and troubles. Honestly this far into the series and Cogman is still capable of catching readers off guard and has such a great way of creating and building worlds and stories is impressive and appreciated. I finished the Secret Chapter last night and am almost halfway through the Dark Archive this morning.

So good. Different than any of the others in the series, because Irene and Kai are working with a team, that might be a problem with the new treaty…we shall see. Adds a new layer to Kai and Irene and introduces several new key characters, some of which have the potential to stay for other books I think. I put it down for a few weeks, but am eager to have time to read over spring break.

So good so far, this series is making me fall back in love with reading. I am enjoying it so much
