Reading on the tube is proving to be very fun

End of Act 2 Scene 3. This plot is so intriguing, a love triangle after a shipwreck; Viola tries to play as her twin brother (who’s thought to be dead), and gain the hand of Countess Olivia. I’m enjoying this!

The start of Part Two. I wanna know what’s happening with Ava/ why she’s being so distant? Has something happened to her? Also what are these rituals achieving? I’m so intrigued by the drugs they’re giving Catherine too, and how much they’re impacting her version of the truth vs. the actual reality!

This is strange (but a good type of strange), and I’m very invested so far

End of Chapter One. Used a mixture of the book itself and the audiobook narrated by Donna Tartt. Found the first chapter very engaging and it introduces you to the main group of 5 (6 with Richard) students, and the professor, Julian, with a lot of vivid descriptions. The characterisation is great so far, and the descriptions of the college itself/ the landscape are beautiful.
