Dw, this chapter didn’t fail to mentioned she was still an unmarried old made. Think no further on the close relationships she had with women. She was simply jealous of her brothers marriage. Not a lesbian. No way.

Every time the author uses the terms “most likely” to describe Mary’s sense of dress or opinions on being unwed, despite letters about, to, and from Mary herself indicate neither of these things where on her mind, I’m forced to take a shot of vodka. Dude you do not need two full chapters of exposé and I loathe journalists who use words like “probably, likely, may have, possibly” when discussing someone’s actions and thoughts. You’re not here to hypothesis you’re here to relay facts

About 70% of the first chapter seemed irrelevant but hopefully the rest of the book is not in a similar vein.
