My Year in Books 2025 is highly inaccurate, but what can I expect when I didn't log or track my reads in any way?
In 2026, I will try my best to track my reads and update the tracker regularly. My main goal is to work through the books I already own, so there may be quite a few trips down memory lane. I only organised my books in December, even though we've been living here for 2 years. I'm excited to dive into them.

Ummm... Cliche as hell but it's totally my cup of tea and I'm here for it

Checking the progress on my reading goal here and seeing that it says I've only read 5 books is disheartening.
I've read way more physical books that I need to add, but I'm certain that I've read more ebooks than that and feel like the auto-update feature hasn't been working.
Inaccuracies are frustrating.

Always start the year with a run through of my favourite craft books.

This year I am getting back to the reading that I love.
There will be a lot of re-reads, cheesy romance and KU Smuttiness.
I make no apologies.

Kinda wish I'd gotten to this before the updates. I'd love to read the unsanitised version, even with its problematic content.

It's been so long since I've been able to focus on reading. Mostly I've been reading short Writing craft books.
But in order to fill the well for writing fiction, I need to read more fiction. Find out the new trends and get some inspiration for interesting ways to tell my stories.
If you have any recommendations for what I should pick up, let me know.
