I desperately wanted to love this book, to devour it. Theoretically I should, but 146 pages in and I’m not enticed. I usually love a long and thorough character development but the dreary, dragging on way of it has put me in a bit of a melancholic slump. I decided to bid my farewells to this one and returned it to the library. I may try it again another day.
