Okay we have switched from Dorothea to some other characters. I thought it couldn’t get worse than watching Dorothea cause herself so much pain…. But following characters I’m not interested in, that seems worse? At least it’s not distressing.

I identify with Dorothea in ways I feel a bit embarrassed about, particularly thinking about my younger self. But man, is this book a soporific.
