it won't top my BotY (that's going to Love and Extinction in Equal Measure, without hesitation), but damn if it won't smash the top genre-romance novel place, at this rate, already (prologue + 4 chs in)

Finished Love & Extinction - holy crap, a masterpiece. Hands down the best work of fiction I've ever read: I can't wait to see what people make of it when it starts serialisation later this year.

I'm ~75% through Love and Extinction in Equal Measure - Book 2: This Vastness Is Bearable: simply phenomenal. L&E is shaping up to be one of the best works of fiction I've ever read. I can't wait to hear what everyone else makes of it when it starts serialising (hopefully sometime soon, in 2026).

Finished Love & Extinction in Equal Measure last night: the best SF I've read in a long long while; it's hands down the best story involving time travel, and by far the best love story I've ever read (and I'm only ~⅓ in!) - no contest. Perfection. Onwards to Book 2!
