Rough around the edges, but a fun little rom com so far [though from ~3-4th chapter in until now, it’s got a little derailed with the “b plot”… I’d have much preferred seeing more of a focus on Genna and Abi than all this malarkey with the former’s family and the lottery winnings… i.e. this could have been a solid genre romance novel without that plot element]

Some of my favourite Haley Cass MCs… I adore them both 🥹

Obsessed.

hehehh first in-person meeting… the recording session’s gonna be gooooood! [also got my “gold flecks in eyes” bingo score!

Enjoying it so far, though there is something amusing about these Harper Bliss books of the conversations taking a 4th-wall break to let the reader know that the author has the Right Opinions™, in a less than subtle way, given most of these relationships have a morally questionable set up as the spicy-hook (“dad’s girlfriend” in this case, but “brother’s wife”, and “my therapist” before) 🤣
