i think i hate this book? like we’re trying to make the fmc soooo badass and it’s not quite hitting… i’m struggling to see why people swear by this series

kinda hate this book… haven’t touched it in days but feeling like i need to finish it is looming. we’ll see if i DNF

ok… so different vibe than #1. i expected more time jumps but i think?? i like this whole background? i think it was really smart to start with the mysterious current story with the first book but now i’m itching to know how that ends, like w peace and love i get that they got together and had a somewhat forced quick marriage I WANT THE GOOD STUFF PLS

trying to read less smut and actually learn a thing or two, going very slowly bc i’m bored
