Once again, took me a little bit to get onboard with the new characters, povs, setting, and magic rules…but at this point I need to just blindly trust Robin Hobb always. She is a genius. ugh I love this series

Oh em gee I cried. I haven’t cried reading a book since monster calls. I love love love love LOVE a good Greek mythology book written from the point of view of a woman who starts out innocent and naive but throughout the book learns of the harsh realities of the world and is forced to adapt to protect herself. It’s just so applicable. Ugh and I’m not even halfway through but I’m already sad that it will end
