I don’t normally post progress updates, but I am absolutely foaming at the mouth for this slow burn 🤭, and I need everyone in the world to know it.

my ratings mean nothing other than my immediate emotion after reading the book. I am not a literary critic. I just need to feel like I’m accomplishing something so I read.

I always forget how much I love poetry. I was persuaded to read this by a recommendation card at a bookstore. They suggested one poem and I’ve rarely felt the way I felt then when it comes to someone’s writing. So far, these are impactful and heart wrenching but very, very great pieces of work. ❤️
