The author’s imagination is off the charts but I’m overwhelmed by details. Wonder why the portal part is important besides her knowing literally everything

I’m trying to trust the process because two friends say the book gets better and is good at the end but this beginning is god awful like cmon someone had to have told the author that this mega info dumping is boring

Re-reading this in anticipation of the new book dropping in October

They really should just put this as front material in new versions of bone season
