Basically, Russian Decameron - just more gruesome, and most stories start with "When we met, I was a young boy in my 30s and she was a beautiful, mature woman who recently celebrated her 13th birthday". The mini-novel about Natali and Sonya is so beautiful, it could be a whole book on its own. Some other stories are also amazing.

I loved that woman (she had no idea), and I have done everything I could for us to be together (I did nothing) and then another man came and ruined my life (he asked her to marry him).
