Holy shit

So moving and beautiful. This world is so vast and nurturing I am so lucky to be able to feel that in real time and through reading the authors words. Each page paints water color pictures in my mind of the true essence of life and what it means to be a child of Mother Earth. I am in love💚

“He was so young.” “Like a son to me.” she says every 10 pages as she talks about wanting to fuck him…
other than that this book is delectable

The last half was far better than the first. I ended up liking it more. Still had problems with the liberties in analyzing the songs & things Kurt said + the glossing over of things but it makes sense when you think about the purpose of Azzerad doing this in the first place. Didn’t love love it but I didn’t hate it!

This book is kind of boring me to death. I remember why I put it down. It includes every last detail all smushed together in long chapters - exhausting for me to read. But in this section, it all circles back around to the same few things: the band was gross, Kurt slept a lot bc he was depressed and hated his fame, and they were assholes to past members with a huge lack of communication skills… that’s all!
