Cassie is on page 35 of 320 of Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself
Great content so far, but it's taking a while to progress through this and it needs to go back to the library.

I think I'll buy the workbook so I can spend more time on this.

Cassie is on page 227 of 320 of Eating Ourselves Sick
"We all know somebody who has either battled with or lost their lives to cancer... We either suffer ourselves or know somebody who suffers from an autoimmune disease such as thyroiditis, coeliac disease, allergies... Many of us also know somebody whose child has autism, someone with metabolic syndrome or type 2 diabetes, and someone with depression. We seem to be surrounded by sickness. It's not going away..."

Cassie is on page 166 of 416 of See What You Made Me Do: Power, Control and Domestic Violence
This book is very informative. And insightful. For example, 25% of all children in South Australia are reported to child protection by the time they are 10. OMG.

Cassie is on page 176 of 379 of Mindsight: change your brain and your life
This book is very enlightening about how our minds can develop with integration lacking across various areas... Left brain/right brain, brain/body, etc. And also about attachment and PTSD. But it also shows that this integration issues can gradually be addressed to help us become more whole.

Cassie is on page 147 of 288 of Everything Is F*cked: A Book About Hope
I just read one of the most important footnotes of my life:
"23 According to Kohlberg's model of moral development, by age thirty-six, 89 percent of the population has achieved the adolescent stage of moral reasoning; only 13 percent ever achieve the adult stage. See L. Kohlberg, The Measurement of Moral Judgment (Cambridge University Press, 1987).

Wow. This ties in with other things I have learned. Read the book!
