HudsonPeavy is starting The Phantom of the Opera
Book club # 4. The Bible is on pause b/c the end of Exodus was boring and mostly barren, and Leviticus is somehow even less readable.

Read all of Percy Jackson except for this one. Figure it’s a good way to work on Spanish and fix a serious deficiency in my reading history.

Haven’t read a Wildbow story in a couple years, and man it feels good to be back. If you haven’t read any of his stuff, you’re really missing out. Please reach out to Brian Cohen for any inquiries regarding this statement’s validity.

Not even close to finished but have to write this already. Wow. This book is so hard to read, but I just can’t stop. The sarcastic prose is simultaneously hilarious and heartbreaking. She flawlessly evokes a child’s inner monologue. The book so perfectly depicts narcissistic parents and their need for control. OCD, eating disorders, and fraught maternal relationships hits close to home but I can’t stop reading.

I’m only about 1/3 of the way through and I feel absolutely disgusting about going into biglaw upon graduation…this book is so enlightening and infuriating at the same time. I’ve never felt so complicit in lighting the world on fire in my life.
