it feels pretty intellectually lazy and dishonest to say that Israel “bought land from Arabs”

I feel like it is a bit disingenuous and reductive to say that Africa is trapped in poverty because the rivers have waterfalls and are thus unnavigable. Totally has nothing to do with violent resource extraction or the slave trade.
