Not really enjoying the narrator...

So much info dumping.

Too much time between this and the previous book. I don’t remember who’s who with what history. 😞 I need a recap.

Confused quite often during this book. I feel as if the author had everything clear in their head, but at times only showing us glimpses, that leave me guessing and rereading incase I accidentally skipped something. I am enjoying the book, but think I’d like it more if things were presented more solidly instead of wisps of wind.

Maybe only 1/5 through. The beginning was especially hard. Enjoying Carrot's story more. But still, not my kind of humour it seems.

Usually I am all for DNF:ing books that don't do it for you, but _everyone_ loves Pratchett. Is there something wrong with me? I shall get through this. Also reading it for an online book club...

Just as I thought that maybe he stopped plagiarizing, he blatantly plagiariazed.

I thought people were being hyperbole, claiming it's just a rewritten LotR... So far it seem they were not. The similarities are way past just inspiration. I'm enjoying the writing, but this is hard to ignore.

Re-reading this after a couple years. Now as ebook instead of audio.
